L.J. Wysingle
As soon as LJ was able to talk, they began singing. LJ was in the car with their mom listening to gospel music, and then heard a song that captured their heart. That is when the love for music was born. LJ's music teachers cultivated that passion. They were in marching band during high school, which opened the door for them to start playing other wind instruments. They were then in the band at Prairie View A&M University, participating in numerous brass ensembles over the years. LJ played trombone in church and directed a wind instrument band there. They grew up performing and exploring various instruments on the church stage. Their love for drums also came from church. The music director and pastor supported their musical creativity.
